100% California Grown Medium Grain Milled Rice (water Polished).

Directions

One cup of raw rice will produce about 3 cups of cooked rice. Stove Top (for best results cook 2 cups of rice): Using a heavy pan with a tight fitting lid: 1. Combine 2 cups of Kokuho Rose and 2-1/2 cups water in medium saucepan. 2. Bring to a full hard boil (It is recommended by FDA to boil the rice at 212 degrees for 1 minute). 3. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 20 minutes. 4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes. 5. Fluff with fork or rice paddle and serve. Electric Rice Cooker: 1. Combine 1 cup Kokuho Rose and 1-1/4 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. 2. Continue as directed by rice cooker manufacturer. Leftover Rice (Please properly store leftover rice in the refrigerator): Reheating leftover rice. 1. Microwave: Cover rice and cook on high for about 1-1/2 minutes. 2. Stove Top: For 1 cup of rice add 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and heat 4 to 5 minutes.
